Philly Culture! Old Italian Bakereries are hard to come by. I remember as a kid, we would always go to Ciminera's Bakery. Those great donuts filled and heavy. Those tea Tea Biscuits just nice with some butter. Once Ciminara's closed we started going to Frangelli's. Nothing but the best bringing back old fashioned nostalgic memories. Skip dunkin and go here.

The Jelly Doughnut is not powdered despite photos. It was just lightly coated in granulated sugar. That's a big disappointment for me. I was looking forward to the taste of the powdered sugar, but I didn't get that. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known that ahead of time.
The Glazed Doughnut tasted exactly like a $2.50 doughnut. It's not great. But not bad at all. Pretty classic. But it in no way satisfied my craving for a classic glazed donut. Very soft glaze. Not like a Krispy Kreme.
& The Original Franolli was also disappointing. Especially for the price. The filling wasn't really sweet & the exterior is lightly powdered. I get doughnuts maybe once a year--and I randomly had my yearly craving today. I hate to give such a negative review of an old school Philly staple that so many people consider beloved. But, for myself, it just wasn't worth the money. I genuinely prefer Dunkin's powdered to this one and theirs always tastes like straight chemicals.
I need to remind myself next year that this place's selection, while it appears to be up my alley, it just isn't for me. I would recommend you guys update the photos to the menu on DoorDash to be more accurate.

Love the Tea Biscuit. Basically an Italian scone, but bigger and not dense as a scone, in a good way. Sad that the Italian Cream had a large amount of the cream in the package, not the pastry. Will give them another try.

I am very pleasantly surprised to find some of the best donuts in Philly here. These donuts were absolutely divine. Even when I ordered at the end of the day, they were all very fresh. The bakery team was very accommodating for my food allergy and I definitely will be ordering from them again.

To be this is the top notch bakery for pastries & omg donuts esp filled donuts it takes me back to my childhood when I use to get jelly donuts filled to brim with jelly! This place they are definately not air donuts these babies are heavily filled & also the Italian cream ones.. momma Mia!! Cakes well all delicious one I had was peach & to die for.. i can order thru delivery easy I don't buy really often due to health issues& sweets but even I'm told their occasion of having tomato pie etc etc are the bomb ..
