The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and a good portion size. The beef patty was good size with a decent filling to crust ratio. They had just the right amount of spice and paired well with the jerk sauce. The fried plantain was savory and sweet. This was my first time trying carribean food, and it was a pleasurable experience indeed!

The Spicy Beef Cheese Patty and Fried Plantain were good as usual, so I would order them again. The Red Peas Soup was tasty, but had one piece of beef, so portion and quality control checks should be done before packaging, especially given the price.

Man Oh Man!!! I cannot get enough of the curried chicken here!!! I'm addicted. I have tried other restaurants in Houston that serve this and the flavor is the difference!!!! I love their curried chicken plate. Also, they have theee best plantains I have ever eaten. The curried gravy is THEEE BEST IN HOUSTON hands down. I hate that they close so early.

The Coco Bread was soft and succulent. The Lunch Special Brown Stew Chicken was a great option to get full but not too full. Full of flavor.

So! Sorry I went against my decision to stay away from this location due to not following instructions.
I decided to order 8/13 after staying away for awhile .
I ordered my usual order of oxtails, rice with peas, plantain with steam veggies and chicken soup. Goodness! One The worst order I've had. I don't know if owners change or staff was short 🤔
The rice and peas were overcooked. The plantains were burned. The steam veggies over cooked and not drained. The oxtails were scorched. There was gravy swimming everywhere in the container 🤦🏾
