I do NOT understand the bad reviews! We had the chicken fried chicken, 2 sides, a biscuit delivered to our home in Vidalia. it was still warm and was delicious! The green beans and mashed potatoes are not just dumped from a can or box and the gravy (both white & brown) was extremely flavorful. The chicken was fork tender with a crispy crust and juicy inside.
We have also dined in and got burgers and fish. Yes, the fish were on the small side, but I was stuffed after eating my entire 3-pc meal. You can also order a 5-pc, or at that price, get TWO orders! Super pleased with food AND service!

everything was pretty great. the only gripe would be that you could definitely taste the instant in the mashed potatoes. highlight was the gravy, for sure. as for everything else, for the price it was good food and a lot of it. like, A LOT. this was our second time trying this place out and it was good both times so we will most likely keep them in rotation.

The chicken was not fresh. Some pieces looked like they'd been under the heat lamp for a long while. I got 2 thighs, 3 wings and 3 breasts, no legs. Legs are a favorite so that was disappointing, too.
As for the sides, the macaroni and cheese container was only half full, green beans and mashed potatoes maybe 3/4 full, gravy about half full. That's not enough for a family.
Very disappointed in Jack's.
