Aside from Mondays....??? Never a badmeal here...delicious, true southern goodness...beef tips, spaghetti, chicken tetrazini, meatloaf, candied yams, sweet potatoes, collards...the list goes on...delightful/kind staff, again, aside from Mondays...that just seems to be a day they struggle to get it together...any other day though, you WILL NOT find better food or people in Tuscaloosa. Period.
Side note:
I am not a native Alabamian...I am 100% Texan, born and raised...and as such, this food is Texas A++ rated!

Great Chicken & Dumplings with (3) Sides!the dumplings just like my mother made! I love the side vegetable!The soup is special treat!I buy soup and freeze to have others days. The souportions comes in very nice containers to freeze or eat fresh.

I love the Beef ttips andrice is tendernd warm,collards and cabbage and fried okra Lways a favorite. I love the vegetable and the red velvet cake is best ever!
The chicken vegetable soups to die for! Its the best, like my Mother's !its fresh made!
Their food is always consistent, fresh and packaged carefully!

Oh my good god the food was absolutely heavenly. REAL soul food dude like only thing I've ever had that rivals my own mother and thats CRAZY. I would not just kill, but DIE for that mac n cheese and the Dressing Casserole (Side) ? UGH SO GOOD, you can never find a dressing anywhere I wish they sold it daily. Don't even get me started on the Caramel Cake bro ..I felt the soul of someone grandmother in every bite, it was so moist and dense at the same time oh my god so good. Everything was fresh and hot and good portions too. 12/10 WILL eat again.

KK's dressing is amazing! I ordered the 4 Veggie Plate & got 2 orders of dressing bc it's THAT good. I don't like sage (seasoning) & most restaurants put wayyy too much sage in their dressing. Not KK! I've ordered it several times & it's safe to say, they're not fans of it either. Lol! I got their COLLARD GREENS for the 1st time & they're really good! Macc & cheese, fried catfish, hamburger steak, lima beans... just some of my faves.
