I always get the Mix Sushi Tray for my family, it's always fresh . The 49er's Roll with its refreshing lemon topping is also a crowd favorite. The Lion King Roll is also good for those who prefer cooked rolls. The protein to rice ratio in all their sushi is just right. The Seaweed Salad and Edamame both were fresh with good flavor- and they give a decent portion too. Everything is always packaged nicely and looks appetizing from the moment of unboxing.

I'm a little embarrassed to say how many times I've ordered sushi here. The Rainbow Roll is a must order, the crab is creamy and the fish is fresh. I like that the fish is not super thick but can be enjoyed in one bite. This was my first time ordering the California Crunch. I probably won't order it again. The tempura was soggy and the crunch didnt stay crunchy. But it was still tasty.

This was my first time ordering from here. Somethings were ok but overall I was disappointed.
1. I disliked the Hamachi Don. The serving size was ok but the Hamachi was not fresh. The flavor was off. This was a major turn off.
2. The Chicken Udon was just plain weird in appearance and ingredients. It's hard to describe. I've never seen Chicken Udon like this. I might order it again just to get an another chance to evaluate it.
3. I liked the fact they offer Temaki style (handrolls). I orders three, Unagi Temaki, Spicy Scallop, and California Roll. The Soacy Scallop Temaki was flavorful and the others had good too too. My one complaint is the seaweed wrappers were on the soggy side, not crispy. They should have that crispy texture when you bite into it. I'll probably try them again to see if it was a one time problem.
Overall I was disappointed in Kiya Sushi. There prices are on the higher side but they don't deliver on the quality one would expect for the price, at least for this one order. There is no excuse for fish that is not fresh.

I didn't know the Any Three Rolls lunch special came with salad and miso soup, so I ordered Takoyaki as well. So much food for such a good price! Their takoyaki is bigger compared to most places, was just as tasty, and had such great texture.

Delicious food and good-sized portions for the price! We had the Chicken Teriyaki entree, the Beef Teriyaki lunch special, and some Vegetables Tempura. The chicken was very tender and I liked that there was a lot of sauce to go with the rice. The beef portion was small but it was perfect for lunch. The vegetable tempura was good but would probably be better at the restaurant than to-go.
