Best I've had in Charlotte! I have tried a lot of African food in Charlotte.. this was the best. grated it was a little cold due to distance to uptown but beyond that it was flavorful, a great amount and Authentic. I know who I'll be ordering my food from from now own or at least pick up/eat in when I get my car back from being totaled.

I've been buying good food here a long time, but I didn't expect this. This Suya - Chicken did not taste good, was really dry like it was just fried with oil (wasn't grilled) and I paid $18.99 just for this few pieces.
This was not a good buy for me.

First time trying out this restaurant. The price for the food doesn't match the proportions that was given. Had two small pieces of chicken that were dry/tough. Egusi was also a small amount as well [I've been to Hady's International in Raleigh and the provide way more]. I don't plan to ever order here again, nor would I recommend this to anyone else.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The fufu seemed too sticky? It was literally sticking to our fingers. The oxtails were EXTREMELY skimpy. We paid $83 we expected more than this. The eugsi soup tasted very odd, I'm not sure if it were supposed to taste that way and we just didn't like it ( this is our first time trying african food) or what. Overall, we were very disappointed and won't try food here again.

Every time you order, it's less food, prices get higher. You get three pieces of small stew meat, about two bites of cabbage and 1 slice of carrot, and then some rice which too has gone down. Not to mention the okra stew is nothing but oil it's so disgusting. I really used to love this place.
