Every item I received was made just the way it should be. The Stuffed Avocado was a semi firm bowl, the heat of the shrimp didn't impact the firmness of the avocado. The 8oz Queso is always great. There isn't really a spice to it which is more than ok for me. There are some places that over salt or add too much comino or cayenne pepper and it's overbearing, but this is just fine for me. The queso is smooth and silky, not hardened by the drive or setting in a container to deliver.

As a chicken tortilla soup aficionado I have tried this dish at many local restaurants. Las Palapas chicken tortilla soup is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Lots of tender chicken in a chicken broth based soup with Spanish rice, Monterey Jack cheese, tortilla strips, fresh avocado slices and cilantro plus your choice of corn/flour tortillas served on the side makes for a very hearty meal.

The Okie Burrito is MASSIVE ! I got the Piccadillo with onion, I think the burrito easily weighs close to 5lbs lol, its delicious. I would consider it shareable

bean & cheese chalupa were ok. I requested additional beans but there was only a thin layer of them. There was no cheese.

I ordered a large but got a bowl w more rice than chicken . The corn tortillas were old and were hard on the edges . The tortillas soup was saltier than normal . I am sick and live by the Palapas on Blanco rd but it's closed today so had no choice but to order fromthe Thousand Oaks store.
