I think I just found my new favorite Mexican food restaurant. The food was extremely flavorful. The birria tacos meat was braised to perfection and the cheese pull was out of this world. But the thing I appreciated the most was that they give you a cup of warm consome complimentary which most places would charge extra for. After eating this food I'm ready for a nap. Highly recommended

Maria's is always a good choice for Mexican food while in Oakland. They have good sized plates for a great price and the food is really good. My Enchiladas, sopes, tacos, and menudo are always on point. I order from them often and will continue to do so.

I got the carne asada enchiladas. very flavorful, and a good quantity as you can see in the picture. everything tastes fresh. unusually very picky about red enchilada sauce, a lot of places do not make a decent red sauce in my opinion. but the red sauce for the enchiladas is also tasty!! I would definitely recommend! YUM YUM!

Wet burrito was very flavorless. Rice, meat, beans had hardly any flavor. Very skimpy on the wet burrito sauce. My friends enchiladas were just as bland. Overall disappointed was expecting better based on reviews

This is one of my favorite Mexican places to order from here in Oakland. The portion sizes are very good and the food is made fresh with great flavor. They also do a buy one get one free all the time and I'll take 2 quesebirrias for the price of one any day of the week lol, especially when they taste as good as these ones do. I order from here often and will continue to do so. They definitely do not disappoint!
