McAlister's Deli is outstanding. Their sandwiches are always fresh and delicious, and made EXACTLY the way you specify. I have so many favorites I don't know where to start. the BlBlack Angus King Club is one, the King Club is another, the French dip, the New Yorker, the Memphian...all top quality sandwiches.

McAlisters is delivering & the food is slapping!! The service at this location has stepped up their game & taken a full 360 from how it was a few years ago. A LOT better! Every single order the past month (4 different orders) has been right & was delivered hot & fresh! They've got THE BEST Chicken Tortilla Soup & you can't go wrong with any of their sammiches aka sandwiches, but especially their clubs & that hot Turkey Sammich with pepper jack cheese & honey mustard. Don't remember exact name but it's so good! Oh, and their Nachos!! They put the Rotel on the side so those fresh hot tortillas don't get soggy! They do the same for the Deluxe Nachos with Chili & Rotel! Yummy!!

The Spud Max had great flavor. Would've been even better if they included the butter and sour cream as requested!!! The salad was the most pathetic excuse for a salad, iceberg lettuce with brown edges, no croutons, and a couple pieces of cucumber. There was NOTHING in that salad worth $8. It was meant to be my lunch the next day. Couldn't eat it. No straw included with the tea either. Never had a McAllisters put out such a disappointment.

The New Yorker sandwich and Spud Max in my Choose 2 were great!
However, the Side Caesar Salad left much to be desired; I know it was close to closing time, but the lettuce was wilted (not from the warm sandwich-the lettuce was still cold,) the actual romaine stalks were soft, wet and the veins in the stalk were pink, a sign of oxidation ("pink rib") and bacterial decay. Basically "old lettuce". There was also no parmesan on the salad.
Again, I understand it was the end of the night. I don't expect perfection. I used to work in foodservice, (AND at McAlister's, once upon a time.) I would appreciate lettuce that appears safe to eat, however. If given the chance, I would have been more than happy to select an alternative side. I have never had issues with this location, so I'm sure this was a one-off. But I still feel like it should be mentioned, especially given the fact that the whole Cyclospora thing hasn't fully blown over.

My Southwest Chicken & Avocado Salad was so good, they didn't skimp on avo, and it was filled with goodness. Solid 10/10
