Absolutely fresh and amazing!!! We wish you were located in Clear Lake, Texas so we could enjoy your food more often!!!!! (We're just here for a few days, and your restaurant came HIGHLY recommended! The recommendation was spot on!!!!). I'll post pictures of what we received, because you really should try this restaurant, and I hope the pictures do it justice!
The Caprese Salad is so bountiful, fresh and delicious!!! I absolutely love they added lettuce, arugula, croutons, and avocado (small charge for adding avocado. Worth it!!!). The traditional Caprese Salads we get sometimes from some other places usually include k my mozzerella and tomatoes, and balsamic and/or olive oil. I love, however, this addition of so many greens. It's like getting 2 salads for the price of 1, and frankly, it tastes GREAT! Indeed, the salad greens taste freshly prepared as opposed to coming from a huge bag of prepared lettuce from Sysco. I hope that's the case (that they're not from a bag of what you hope is at least pre-washed).
The Personal Cheese pizza also is great! The person ordering that wanted a simple but well-done pizza that tastes like it's artisan made, as opposed to coming from pizza places that have hundreds of franchise locations. He was not disappointed!
The Personal DIY Pizza is fantastic! I ordered half pepperoni and green olives, and half tomatoes, red onions, and mushrooms. DELICIOUS! I can't decide which side is my favorite, though. So I'm glad I ordered half & half! (Thanks to the restaurant for setting up their menu to allow us to choose ingredients for half or for the whole Personal DIY Pizza.
Have I mentioned the Pepperoni Rolls yet? Oh, that's below. I started typing that part of the review, then launched into a complaint about DoorDash's practice of usually denying requests when a restaurant accidentally leaves out part of the order. So, I moved that to the bottom of this review because the complaint part applies to DoorDash, NOT to this restaurant. So, the Pepperoni Rolls: they're awesome!!!! Generous amounts of cheese and pepperoni, without being too much!!! And, the Pepperoni Rolls are fully cooked - there's no raw dough in the center (unlike when I try to make them at home). The marinara sauce is great!! (But they left out 2 of the marinara sauces we paid extra for - which we wanted for dipping pizza crusts. It's a small and inconsequential, understandable and relatable mistake. But DoorDash's customer service and policies when something like this happens sucks).
For the Personal Pepperoni pizza, people had already started eating it when I took the picture. That's why you're only seeing 1 small slice (next to a single roll from our Pepperoni Rolls order).
