Everything on this menu is great. My favorite is the chili relleno, but sometimes you just want a Taco Salad and it's AMAZING. It's big, it's hearty, it's filling, and comes in a cake box!

Sopapilla Cheesecake was decent. But not worth the price. It's small, kinda tough, and not spongey at all. Also zero cream cheese taste. Would be worth for maybe a dollar.

Quesadilla and Tres Leches I ordered was delicious, large portion, Tres Leches was the best one I have ever tried actually, with not too much sugar very airy and fresh! Quesadilla had 4 giant pieces filled with good qutility cheese mushrooms and steak that is cooked just right, with onion and not too much oil, burnt on open fire a little, delicious. They also gave me utensils and chips came with it too. Thank you

The staff is always friendly and they are so generous with the amount of food they give you. I got the fajitas for two and it fed us both, plus plenty for dinner tomorrow. The meat was very tender, chicken maybe a little overcooked this time but I can't complain.
One thing that sets them apart, no matter what you order you always get chips and salsa. I love that. Not gonna mention any names but other Mexican food places here in Galveston if you order a thing of fajitas for two people. You receive one tortilla per person. Thank you The Original for your great quality of food for a very raesonable price. (We received 6 tortillas when we ordered fajitas for 2) nothing new they just do it right, every time!
