Everything was pretty good. Hot dog was a mess & falling apart. Salad was good though it had the full end of the stems in the mix as well as wilted pieces. All salad prices went up with portions smaller (like most restaurants) & removing the chicken doesn't reduce the price. All items tasted great as usual.

My $3.50 SMALL fries weren't even half way filled, the mozzarella wasn't melted on my sandwich and I didn't get any au jus even though I ordered it on the side. It got here pretty quick, though, so I guess that's a plus, but no ketchup or napkins.... kind of a bummer for $30.

Cup of Chili was fine,a little spicier than normal.Chocolate Cake Slice The cake waa skimpy.i ordered 2. 1 was hardly any icing & kind of " stale"the other piece was almost.half size regular piece..tried to cover the gap with icing!!

Portillos is something that I treat myself to once in a great while because it is a little pricey, however, today was awful. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich, which was disgusting and soggy. The chocolate cake looks like somebody had taken a torch and melted all of the icing off of it. It was in a pool on the bottom of the container, not even on the cake. The fries were cold and clearly very old and they did not include any silverware or napkins. Very disappointing are such an expensive chain restaurant.

I'm not sure what I paid for. I opted for "grilled" chicken to the tune of almost $3 extra, but the chicken wasn't even hot. What is the "regular" chicken for the salad? The bread was totally stale, included no butter, and was flavorless. Did the recipe change? I am less and less happy with Portillo's every time I order.
