Rasoi, which means cooking in Hindi, reminds me of my mother's exquisite Indian cuisine.
Sneaking into the kitchen for freshly made snacks, sweets, and essentially a handful of anything my mother made…
Veg Samosa is a classic. Never fails! 2 large samosa-great to share.
The chicken patio is a sweeter sauce so go higher on spice. I ordered medium but could have gone maybe two higher.
The garlic naan is always a star! It's a the size of a large tortilla and much thicker.

This place has quickly become a favorite of mine. The food is so flavorful and comforting, with nice portion sizes, and is always hot and fresh when I get it. What's even better is the quality, I've ordered from the restaurant about 5-6 times and the food is delicious every single time. My favorite is the Punjabi Shahi Paneer, it's so rich and creamy and has become a comfort meal of mine. It literally tastes like good home cooking. The Punjabi Garlic Naan is always warm and perfectly cooked, and the Mango Lassi?? Creamy and refreshing, it hits the spot every freaking time. I can't get enough!

Wonderful Chicken Tikka Masala(D), good flavor/seasoning. Can't wait to try other dishes. Enough food to last me three meals. And you can never go wrong with Naan. I could just have a piece of naan for lunch and be happy.

This is one of the only places in town that offers fish pakora on their menu (my favorite) . This is a fried dish that could end up being soggy, so I called and asked if there was any way they could package it to where it was vented and they accommodated me. They tented the packaging in such a way that most of the moisture escaped and allowed from maximum crisp for something that was going to travel for a little while. The spice mix in the pakora batter is perfect. I decided to try the Punjabi Aloo Tikki and I'm glad I did. It's a delicious potato dish. It's well spiced with a good blend of flavors. Also tried the chicken Tikka Tak. This was also well spiced and simple. The tikka tak is perfect for leftovers and to add as a base to another meal. These were all off the appetizer menu and I believe the portions are pretty good to share as a meal between two people. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

For $29, there was only a little bit of goat. It was mostly bones. Indian Bistro removes their bones. Also, it wasn't that flavorful. The only reason I tried it was because the Bistro doesntr open back up until 4:30.
