It sounds weird but the SM NH Original Clam was very good. They don't skimp on the clams either. There was a little sand but that is expected because these are clams!
The Tiramisu was tasty and the portion was generous.

I have been to Sally's in New Haven and am a huge fan of New Haven style pizza and personally feel like CT's pizza pedigree sets the bar. I can appreciate when an institution like Sally's wants to grow and expand but this was an example of scaling something too quick without and emphasis around quality and delivery. The sauce was probably the closest but everything else about the experience from the dough, lack of cheese, toppings, size (picked up a large pie that came in a typical New Haven size box with a pizza that was maybe 14-15" that slid around the entire box) and temperature was dismal. Over the last 10 years I have seen some local pizzerias come up that deliver a higher quality than what this claims.

I do usually love this place, however they are very inconsistent with sauce, cheese. And I used to be in love with their cannoli pie but recently we ordered it & it was a completely different thing. They changed their cannoli cream - and it's not even close to the previous version we loved. Also there is no crust, just a thin layer of graham cracker crust & nothing on top. I won't order it anymore cause when I eat sweets, it's got to be REALLY worth it & the new thing we got is definitely not. I will say the Calabrian salad is very good & was fresh & made per our omits.
Lastly, I really wish they had a comment section when ordering pizza - OR a mod for "light sauce", as it doesn't agree with me & I know most people love the amount of sauce here but I'm the oddball who doesn't, so every time I order, I have to call them that second & ask if they could please do light sauce.
