• 15/5/25The food is always on point! The Vegetable Samosas (2) are flavorful and crispy! The Tandoori Chicken (7 pcs.) are so tasty and juicy. I love that it comes with lemon and veggies.

• 12/9/25One of the best Tandoori Chicken (7 pcs.) I have ordered from a restaurant. The portion size was amazing and they put a lot of effort into ensuring that everything is perfect! Loved the extra dipping sauces and side rice. It tasted amazing too! Would definitely recommend!

• 13/2/26The Nav Ratan Shahi Korma was delicious! It was creamy and had all the added vegetables in it, quantity was perfect for two people. The Naan was fresh and didn't become rubbery on reheating. I would definitely try other vegetarian items from here!

• 11/8/24So I read through every review here before I decided. All the reviews were on point! And helped me to decide what to get. Everything I ordered was delightful! The Chicken Tikka Masala (Medium) was so good and flavorful. It still had a nice kick of spice which I loved. I added mushrooms to mine and it made it so hearty. The Garlic Naan is so good and I received rice with it. Now the Vegetable Samosas (2) were probably my favorite behind the Chicken Tikka Masala. They come with potatoes and peas and so much good seasoning. I dipped them in the red sauce and the Masala and wow so good. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

• 17/2/26As someone who used to work in a high quality Indian restaurant, I have tried so many spots around Indianapolis looking for the same quality only to be disappointed or find the quality is inconsistent. I often end up making my Indian food at home. When I heard about Shalimar, I had to try it immediately! One of my favorite things to eat when I worked at an Indian restaurant was curried shrimp wrapped in roti and dipped in tikka masala. I was so excited to see Shrimp Tandoori Masala on the menu with good ratings! The sauce was absolutely perfect, with great quality, flavor, texture and the perfect blend of spices, yogurt, tomato, and onion. The only issue was that the shrimp was overcooked. I imagine I was the first one to order shrimp for the day. The Tandoori Roti (Chapathi) was even better than what I was used to, which I did not know was possible. The Kheer (Rice Pudding) was a great finish to the meal and the Mango Juice was delicious, plentiful, and refreshing. I will be back and hope for a consistent (and even better) experience in the future!
