This was my first time trying this restaurant based on my roommates opinion on where I can get decent seafood. I have to say this place was excellent! Although I'm from New England and used to the freshest seafood available, this is a very good substitute. The flounder fell apart, which is the way I like my fish cooked,it was delicious and the shrimp although small, was very tasty as well. The hush puppies were very different from the way my previous roommate made them, but I prefer the way this restaurant made them, as they were very flavorful onion-wise. I can't speak for my roommate's meals, but I haven't heard any complaints yet. The coleslaw was delicious, not too sweet nor too tart. My only two negatives are that the extra cocktail and tarter sauce were not included, and the fries could've been cooked longer. (next time I'll ask for the fries to be well done; no biggie on my end). All in all, I am very pleased with my meal and will definitely go back for more! 👍👍

Wonderful food, HPs still warm, huge salad portion, added the extra onions and tomatoes I asked for. 10/10 would order again! Might even make a trip to sit down and eat inside soon!

Delicious yet again!! I tried the onion rings for the first time, and although I prefer a crunchy batter, these were still very good. I added a few things to my sandwich, like coleslaw, lettuce, to stir and cheddar cheese. The sandwich was how I imagined it would look and taste like! Everything was made perfectly!!

I have not had a single bad item. The WORLD FAMOUS FISH SANDWICH actually tastes great. Best fish ive had in Shelby. The gyro are delicious. The restaurant as a whole is comparable to something i would find in Miami in terms of quality. Which is saying alot, because this is Shelby.

Outstanding. My first experience with Showmars. They will be my new go to for seafood in Shelby. Fish was golden and crispy on outside. Hush puppies were crunchy on outside and great texture inside. Fries were delicious. Cocktail sauce was tangy enough to let you know it wasn't ketchup! Popcorn shrimp was scrumptious.
