• 14/9/23The Pickle-Brined Fried Chicken & Waffles was the most delicious meal I have received from Silver Diner. The combination of the savory gravy with the sweet hot sauce poured over the chicken and waffles was amazing.
The waffles were moist and not too sweet.
The chicken was tender. Amazing combination.

• 1/4/26Food was good, decent portion, friendly service. Would order again. Wish New! Homefries with Caramelized Onions were crispier and had more salt though. Buttermilk Biscuits (2) were the right balance of buttery and sweet

• 21/12/22The Triple Decker Club has been my go-to here for years but lately its just one very thin partial slice each of ham, turkey, and lettuce total spread across 3 layers of bread---last time no cheese, this time no bacon. From the side view it just looks like 3 slices of bread with no filling. Not worth the $17+ anymore. This skimpflation only started when orders stopped coming from the Clarendon. Tuna Melt is ok, but similarly pared down to half the filling it was just a month ago and years before that. There are way better options for much less $$$ than here now.

• 13/10/25Triple-Pickled Fried Chicken sandwich was better once I removed the peppers, pickled onions and pickles. It was too big though, wasteful, and the fries were greasy and soggy. This is the second time I've had the Dubai shake. It's still okay. You need a spoon to eat it. At least it's different though.

• 25/2/26Food looks good. Looks mostly fresh in the salad! The meatloaf looks dry and It was cold by the time it arrived but that's not the fault of the restaurant. I couldn't eat it because there was no utensils sent with the order which was strange. Also I received a child size drink and that was not expected for a dmeeium size drink.
