Spicy Chicken Shawarma Wrap w/ Lentil Soup was a great deal. Lentil soup was good on a cold night, came with a slice of lemon too. Spicy Chicken Shawarma had a nice little kick to it, wrap is nice and thin but holds everything together well. GET THE WAFFLE FRIES! It came hot and fresh and was so crispy and airy! I'll order the fries again for sure.

It may state Mediterranean, but the food isn't exactly- it's an attempt at Levantine or West Asian food. It isn't traditional as they have westernized it by adding dairy to pita, feta in their salads, dairy in their tahini sauce and baba ghanoush, using onion slices on salads, using seed oils, etc.
They also don't list allergens which is against the law in Illinois. They just added the dairy warning on the pita only (seriously still do not understand the dairy in pita - no one ever does that and this is the first place to ever add it to a pita that I know of - too bad).
No reason to change these foods when they are perfectly served traditionally. Doing this takes away from the natural flavor and texture of the food of the region that made it popular to begin with and just adds another level of processing. If you are looking for traditional food, this is not the place to try. If you are looking for a Westernized version with more salt, dairy added to most dishes, over fried falafel, onions, and some seed oils instead of olive oil, etc., then this is the place for you.
Overall, not too bad for westernized Levantine. Salads were fresh. Packaged well, although they don't follow requests when you ask for no dairy products be added to the bag.

Usually the food is pretty good however, the soup tasted bland and watery, the falafel was leaking and bland. Sadly even the chicken Schwarma wasn't very good. Really disappointed.
