• 15/6/261/2 lb Beef Brisket Plate with cole slaw ...great combo. The brisket (marbled not lean) is to die for, and it pairs perfectly with the slaw. Eat them together for a delicious blend of texture and flavor. Throw in baked beans with bacon and you have all your major food groups -- all the ones that count. Gotta have Smoke Jack in the rotation from now on.

• 10/2/23I love this restaurant !. But their Delivery / Take out dishes are small, and damaging the perception of this place. Huge difference between eating in the restaurant, and ordering take out. Especially the burnt ends dish. Amazing in the restaurant, overpriced tiny dish with overcooked cuts in the take out.

• 10/10/24Let me say this. This got to be some of the best Chopped Beef Brisket and Burnt Ends I ever ate East of Texas. No lie. I got the sandwich and added some burnt ends and the Mojo Smoked Wings were insane. Actual smoked wings and not fried! I got the sauce on the side and the sauce is crazy good. The burnt ends werent dry and that sauce on them is crazy. I dont have any pic cause i ate it all!

• 2/7/26Too much sauce. Messy and had little meat on bones. Was more like baby back ribs, which I do not like..

• 26/2/22Got the Texas Holy Trinity and that was enough food for 2/3 people. The packaging was impressive - almost Tupperware quality. Wonder if the prices are lower at the restaurant? Now to the food.
The ribs were dry, overcooked and definitely not fall off the bone quality. They were ok but nothing to make me want them again.
The brisket was mostly fat and gristle. Perhaps only 1/3 of the meat was edible. What I could eat was fine. The sausage was good. Don't remember if they were supposed to be different types but by far the best of the meats.
The chips, queso and extra salsa were very good. The Cole slaw disappointed. The baked beans were very good. The Brunswick stew was very good too. The Mac n cheese was ok. Bread does not travel well so the Texas toast looked like a winner if eaten at the restaurant. Ok, the bbq sauce was also very good.
The price paid did not equal the quality of the meal. If I was in the restaurant I would have sent the ribs and brisket back.
