I'm been down here in the south eighteen years now that i'm originally from kansas city and I wait my share of great barbecue Sonny's rates right up there with the best.
Most barbecue houses think more smoke means better barbecue but Sonny's understands it is the balance. Like all great barbecue joints do. The chicken was perfect, the brisket. Wonderful and the dry rub on the ribs.  Excellent The ribs were rendered perfectly and not flowing in grease But still tender. The original sauce a great balance between sweet.
And sour. I can't believe in 18 years. I am just now discovering sonny's! I will definitely be back

We go to Sonny's all the time and have always been happy. The ribs are tender, meaty, and delish. The pulled pork is so tender, the brisket is great, and chicken is smoky and good. the beans, slaw, cornbread great. Last time i got ribs ad chicken.Any combo is great.
