The food came in a lovely tote bag. The Bhakri and Rava Surmai Fish were absolutely delicious and came in generous portions. The Shrikhand was delicious but I felt that the portion size was small. Overall I'd rate everything a 4.5/5.

Really tasty Konkani Chicken Masala, medium spicy, not at all oily, lots of chicken pieces and the with the light fresh fragrant rice is awesome. Definitely would order again!

Spice level is a bit aggressive in the Daal, excellent Bkakri I appreciate there is no oil or ghee. Fried rice is great, they followed my dietary restrictions <3

this restaurant has really gone down in quality. Food did not taste fresh. It was extremely garlicky and spicy. Triple Schezwan Fried Rice has egg on it that did not taste fresh. We were very disappointed with the taste and quality.

Machi Cha Kalvan was BAD!
The "fish" was chewy - either overcooked/recooked/stale. It was thick skinne, had less flesh, pretty sure it was either Halwa or Chinese Pomfret instead of the soft & tender Indian Pomfret.
Gravy was ok- had distinct Tirphal+Kokam taste, but was mild spicy.
(FYI, I grew up eating malvani food/fish so I know my food.)
Konkani Chicken Masala - taste was ok, Chicken was soft & cooked, but clueless why it was called 'Konkani'.. TBH it was just a regular chicken gravy.
FYI both my orders were pick-up (I have no strength for the usual hour long wait for a dine-in!) And were picked up in the evening. So YMMV.
Lastly, 1/5 star for being one of a kind malvani food place in the bay area after a long while.
But sadly it is overpriced and definitely not worth the hype (at least yet!)
