My first time ordering and wanted to try..Grilled beef sandwich BANH MI was excellent! Very large, btw. Bread was fresh, warm. Meat was tender, and deliciously seasoned, fresh vegetables. I will definitely order again!

I’ve been getting Vegan Large vegan pho ( phở chay lớn) from this establishment for years and I’ve watched it go downhill. They did away with the pho to go bowls, the vegan meatballs have dissipated from the meal altogether although advertised in the description, now the portions are half the size with next to no protein provided. The portion I received was 3 cubes of tofu and 2 measly slices of ham, way less noodles than previously received and no condiments included. Not sure if the store is cutting costs but I won’t be spending $17 on another bowl with nothing included unfortunately.

The pho was pretty good, better than alot of the other places around here. I always get the bun Bo hue they have one of the better tasting bun Bo hue here in Manteca. 8/10 overall and they also gave me alot of veggies like I asked for!

The food here is so good. We usually do the chicken and rice plate and I was in the mood for something different. I got the Combination BOWL ( bun thap cam ) and loved it. Perfect portion size and is tasted so fresh and so flavorful that I will make this one I will definitely order again.

I really like the Vietnamese sandwich BBQ ( banh mi thit nuong ) with the BBQ pork and the orange mayo they use is a little sweet and goes well with the sandwich. The meat is in in small pieces so when you take a bite, you're not pulling out a large portion of your meat which is great. However, the ratio of meat to bread is pretty low (only one single layer) and so I have to order extra meat for my husband's sandwich and I only eat a 1/2 sandwich, so I push all my meat to one side and discard the rest of the roll. The biggest issue though, although I really like the Vietnamese sandwich BBQ ( banh mi thit nuong ), the bread is super hard to bite through. I have to do a sawing motion with my teeth to get a bite off, and even so, I still have to resort to pulling it with some force while gripping tightly with my teeth. I'm assuming the bread is stale and perhaps not cooked or delivered daily. I've never been lucky enough to get one that wasn't that way, but I keep trying when I get a craving for this sandwich because there aren't a lot of options for Vietnamese sandwiches near me. Just be careful with the jalapenos...sometimes there as hot as a bell pepper and other times they are more like a Serrano which is always the case with Jalepenos so I'd get them on the side just to be safe if you're not a fan of heat. The Deep-fried Egg rolls (chả giò ) were super crispy and we liked them, but the sweet chili sauce is very sweet and I prefer sweet and sour sauce so maybe next time I'll make some sweet and sour at home if I'm going to order those again.
