• 28/10/23food was great, tasted authentic! order was prepared exactly as requested and they kept my alllergies in mind. the Beef Soup aka caldo de res was awesome! tortillas from the 3 Tacos Meal tasted homemade. awesome! :)

• 3/7/26I would not recommend this place for value or comforting flavor. I got the 2 Tacos Meal which was $16. That's $16 for two tacos and some beans and rice. It's extra to pick meat for the 2 Tacos Meal, so I tried the frijolitos negros y mushrooms al pastor. The frijolitos were OK, nothing special but nothing bad. The mushrooms seemed to be whole canned mushroom slices marinated with some kind of slimy onion slices. The rice was also weird. I liked the whole peas and carrot cubes, but the rice had a strong Worcestershire flavor, not something I would've expected. Worse, it was served in a pre-portioned plastic tray with small wells for the rice and beans, which means you get less than the customary 4 oz. side portion of each. I would not pickup or order from this place again, especially with all the better options in the area.

• 30/5/26Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor! The Huarache wh potato and poblano is divine. The 2 Gorditas Meal with asada and the pulled pork was so delicious. The homemade sauces are a great spice level and really compliment any of their dishes!

• 6/7/25I have a favorite Mexican restaurant for every type of cuisine. For food from Mexico City, Tmaz is my favorite. They have dishes you can't find anywhere else in the greater Ann Arbor area, including a dish I love, huarache. I've tried it with their chicken tinga, spicy fish, carnitas, and barbacoa. With it, they offera chipotle sauce, a salsa, and sour cream, all on the side. This dish is straight out of Mexico City! I hope they make mollete next, because no one in town offers that. excellent restaurant. My only criticism is that some of their main items veer away from authenticism, like the enchiladas. They are served in a flour tortilla. Other than that, I love this place!

• 20/4/26Best beans and rice I've had from a Mexican restaurant.... full of flavor. Handmade Guacamole and Chips was fresh. The 3 Gorditas (Sopes) had generous enough portions for two meals. Will order again.
