I had the tuna nigiri twice and both orders were beyond amazing. Tuna nigiri has been my go-to sushi order for decades so I feel qualified to say Trapper's was the best!
I also had the prawns tempura. The tempura was nice and crispy - yet somehow the prawn inside nearly melted in my mouth. I have no idea how they managed that, but I will only order this from Trapper's in the future.
(BTW, the delivery service made a small error on my first order. The restaurant made it right, plus some, without making me go through the delivery service for a possible refund. Very impressive!)

I should have taken photos but my sushi wasn't rolled, half of it was missing avocado. Some of them were missing crab. I literally had one roll that was just seaweed and rice??? The gyoza was burned and 3 of the pieces were only half of one. The edemame was good...

I am very disappointed with this order- the puyallup roll is inedible. You can see in the picture that the avocado is brown, and the salmon did not taste fresh. This means that the roll was likely prepped in advance and at least a day old. I have had day old sushi with avocado that looked better than this.

My fave is the *Mt. Rainier Roll every time I'm in town I get this and the spicy tuna rolls! So good! I love the cooked little scallops on top the Mt rainier roll, it is amazing, if you don't like raw fish get the trapper roll or the Jayson hand roll. the scallops in that sauce is amazing!

I used to get so excited to eat the sushi from here but the tuna nigiri was an epic fail for me this time. The tuna was hard to chew through, so I tried another and it was worse and I gave up on those that I didn't want to finish, not sure if I just got the bad cuts or what today but it was a miss for me. Feels like a waste of money unfortunately, I got two orders because it used to be so good. The Mt Rainier was mediocre, not delicious like before leaving me wanting to order another lol. the scallop topping was super overcooked too. My driver was great, but the food from trappers sushi today was disappointing. Now making me think I need to find some better sushi options in the future, this used to be my favorite and I have said on reviews in the past.
