• 21/2/24Food was awesome. First time trying them and I will again. Ribs fell off bone. Loaded potato.. definitely loaded and okra was crispy just like I like it. The greens were amazing. It was enough food for two separate meals. Couldn't eat it all in one sitting.

• 1/3/24Not sure why the smoked turkey had a sweet flavor to it like it's glazed, did not like, the brisket has the perfect smoke ring but was extremely dry, the fries are super cute and very tasty. the honey butter cornbread has some unidentified little black things that looked like raisins or some sort of nut I really couldn't tell you. But I refused to eat based on the little black things.

• 22/2/25The saving grace at True Texas BBQ is their brisket - but one decent meat option doesn't make a BBQ joint worth visiting. The turkey was a major disappointment, with a rubbery texture that made it nearly inedible. Their mac and cheese was an unfortunate mess - mushy pasta swimming in a flavorless sauce that seemed more like cafeteria food than proper BBQ sides.
While they managed to get the brisket right, everything else fell short of what you'd expect from a Texas BBQ establishment. For a state known for its BBQ excellence, this place simply doesn't measure up. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out one of the many other BBQ spots Texas has to offer.
