very surprised with how good everything was. nice packaging, great flavor. the green beans were a solid choice and the pork soup dumplings were sooo good and fresh. Definitely will be back. also get the iced tea!

  I feel really lucky that my first impression of the store was a polite young man with a genuinely welcoming smile, who handed me the best packaged to-go bag.  Chicken and pork  dumplings were so flavorful, fresh, and filling. We  also loved orange chicken! Looking forward to try other items in the menu.

Everything was packed with care and tasted amazing, order was completely accurate. Portions are perfect to split with a person or two. All of the food was fresh and didnt get soggy during the drive! The Chicken Stir- Fried Noodles were SO good, and the String Beans With Garlic and Broccoli With Garlic both taste great, the beans are crunchy and the broccoli is steamed perfectly. Will be ordering again, probably soon.

They only get my order correct in person, Szechuan Pork Soup Dumpling (6) were volcano fire spicy way too hot couldnt even enjoy  and the Fried Chicken Dumplings (6) didnt look anything like the picture and had a different sauce, bag also came with the seal broken, overall disappointed, felt like I wasted money...

I never miss an opportunity to grab dinner at Ugly Dumpling when I'm in Newark, DE for work.  The food is always amazing, and the staff is friendly and helpful.  Everything has been good...try the dumplings and fried rice.  The hot and sour soup is also a fav.
