• 3/24/25Absolutely the best Chinese food in town! Every time I order from here, the quality is consistently amazing. Their crab Rangoon is perfectly balanced sweet with a crispy shell. not overly sugary like some places or even plain salty flavor. And the St. Paul sandwich, Hands down my all-time favorite. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and everything always arrives hot and fresh. Highly recommend!

• 2/14/26Quantity over quality. I appreciate this for cost but not for quality.
I grew up on Mandarin Garden by comparison what I've ordered today from China Star feels like a total waste of money. The crab rangoon filling is more like that of a sugary pastry rather than something exhibiting any sense of seafood. This probably was the most disappointing item. The lo mein was okay, not bad, not amazing. hot and sour soup is okay but I tend to prefer a watery kind. everything was flesh just off but I would not order again. I don't know how to describe the intricacies of american chinese food that's missing here, if you know you know.

• 6/3/25I seriously rarely review but this place is amazing. So glad to finally find a decent chinese spot in the area. Dumplings in the 20. Wonton Soup / 云吞汤Are beyond fresh. 12. Chicken on the Stick (6) / 鸡串Is so yummy. Will be back .

• 8/23/25S12. Sesame Chicken / 芝麻鸡 was delicious. pan 6. Steamed or Pan Fried Dumpling (6) are a little chewy. I definitely prefer the thick, doughy ones. 7. Crab Rangoon (6) / 蟹角 were nice and crispy. and everything arrived hot.

• 5/10/25I don't usually write reviews, but I feel so compelled because I love their food so much. I have ordered from this restaurant 10+ times and haven't gotten sick of it. Everything I ordered is straight fire every time. I asked for a little extra sauce in the notes for my orange chicken, and they delivered. 10/10, definitely ordering again
