The week before I donate Blood, I liver and ribeye and maybe a hamburger. And then I'll eat the leftovers because I cannot finish it all. I also eat kale spinach and Swiss Chard. And I add in multivitamin and iron and calcium supplements. Luby’s liver and onions give me a bunch of protein and iron and it is just delicious. The portion is enough for me for three separate meals along with the liver. I also have the mashed potatoes and spinach and the unbelievable carrot and raisin salad. Also, I find that Luby’s food is consistent. We cooked at every location and I have been eating Luby for almost 40 years.

The Fried Fish was act better than I remembered. The vegetables - candied yams, cabbage, fried okra and the carrot salad are fresh and flavorful. Good choice t order the cream gravy for the Chicken Fried Steak LuAnn. It was scrumptious. The Pecan Pie is a favorite dessert and lives up to the standard.

Liver and onions were fresh and tender. Roll was fresh and delicious. Mashed potatoes were delicious and chunky, like homemade, not like instant. blackeyed peas could have used some seasoning, but all in all the food was great.

Too late to provide photos. Long day. Hunger took over. The Fried Fish with sweet potatoes and green beans and wheat bun satisfied me. Luby's food is consistently delicious. Meaning when you are hungry, eat somewhere trustworthy. Luby's is thatplace for my family (four generations). The Pecan Pie is just right. Not too sweet.

Luby's has been a favorite of my family sense I was small child and I introduced my children and grandchildren to Luby's. The liver and spinach,mash potatoes and gravy were delicious one of my favorite meals.
The Liver and Onions Combo so tender ohh the onions tender. The spinach was just right seasoning is great. But you decide. Like I said it's a favorite.
