We ordered the Strawberry Funnel Cakes for Two and another funnel Strawberry Funnel Cake for our eldest and all 3 came so hard that I could bang them on the table and it wouldn't break. Not only that, but even before knowing how hard they were, we noticed that the Strawberry Funnel Cakes for Two only comes with one small container of whipped cream and strawberry sauce to divide between 2 funnel cakes... sad to have such a disappointing experience as my family loves this restaurant. "Extremely disappointing experience. I spent around $70 ordering food from Sagarmatha Curry Palace, and it was by far the worst North Indian food I’ve ever had. I’ve eaten at many North Indian restaurants, and this place was nowhere close in terms of quality or taste.The Butter Chicken and Paneer Makhani were unbelievably sweet, so sweet that they tasted more like dessert than curry. The sweetness completely overpowered the dishes, making them unpleasant and practically inedible. I couldn’t finish them.
The food did not taste authentic, and it certainly wasn’t worth the money I paid. It was a complete waste of $70.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good North Indian food."
