"Butter chicken is always delicious, and I’ve ordered it many times over the past three years. I usually take advantage of the two-for-one offer, which is a little less expensive than ordering two individual dishes.
The one thing I find very disappointing is the inconsistency regarding the bread that comes with the order. Over time, I have sometimes received naan, parantha, roti or bhatura, occasionally one bread for each butter chicken, and other times no bread at all. On some occasions I have paid extra for bhatura at $4.95 each, only to find that those were the only breads included.
I have also asked at the restaurant and was told that flatbread is not included with the two-for-one special, but my past orders have not always reflected that. I would simply appreciate a clear and consistent policy so I know exactly what to expect when ordering. The butter chicken is excellent, and I especially enjoy having a crispy fried bread for dipping, so it is frustrating not knowing whether any bread will be included from one order to the next.
"
"Terrible experience with my butter paneer masala order. The portion I received was visibly undercooked—paneer was raw in the middle and the gravy tasted unprepared. I’ve already submitted a request/complaint about this issue, but the quality was unacceptable and not what I expected. Would not recommend until this is fixed."

"I have been ordering the BoGo Chicken Biryani (boneless) a long time quite frequently, and I have always had a great experience and value for each buck.
Great taste, great quantity, great spices level.
But today Nov.7, 2024. I had an adverse experience. I hardly found like 3-4 chicken pieces in Chicken Biryani (boneless), and also, the spices and salt a little lesser than usual."

"Aloo Parantha Mix Parantha were both good. bread Bread Pakoda (1pc) Mix Veg. Pakoda (1lb) were good as well. chole was very bland. Daal Makhni and saag were very salty. Chana Tikki - tikki tasted good but the chana was not good at all. Shahi paneer was average. butter naan was good. Masala Chai was avg. Royal Falooda had nothing royal about it - below avg. it had no nuts, no dry fruits. no basil seeds .. Just plain vermicelli - not worth at all. Veg. Thali portions were good for the price but the sabzis that I listed above were really bad. Dahi Gol Gappe (6 pcs) taste wise was good but a lot of puris came broken, so we just ate it like salad. packaging was well done as well."

"Bawara’s Ajmeri Style Biryani was a complete disappointment. We even called the restaurant beforehand to confirm the quantity, but the portion of rice and goat pieces was very small. We ordered the spicy version, but instead of a balanced biryani, we got something overloaded with masala and drenched in oil. It felt more like eating curry than biryani. "Food: Really good tastes like Indian street food. Ordered Schezwan Hakka Noodles, Chilli Paneer and Vada Pav. Vada Pav was the best I have tasted so far in Ontario and Green Chutney enhanced the taste. I ordered Kokum Drink which was okay, I tasted it in Carnatic Cafe in Delhi and taste was amazing."
"Not recommended.>>>>> I received below-average food from Shambhus - online and Offline, the plating felt cheap with plastic trays and paper under the food instead of proper plates, which is disappointing given the price. The management seems stuck in a roadside coffee shop mindset. For the price, they need to step up their game. There's plenty of competition, and if they don't improve, I wouldn't be surprised if a new shop replaces them next Diwali. Always loved Abad Shambhus, but this one doesn't meet Canadian standards at Canadian prices."

The food was the highlight—rich, flavorful, and truly authentic. I tried the butter chicken, which had a perfect balance of creaminess and spice, and the dal makhani, which was slow-cooked to perfection"
"I really liked the mango lassi—it tasted fresh and creamy. The chai tea had a good balance of flavor."

"Excellent flavors.
We're vegetarian :
We did for lunch today
- Methi Malay paneer was very creamy and soothing with Tandon Garlic Naan.
- Brilliant medium masala flavorness and miced in butteriness of onion in Gravy Soya Chaap
- Veg Biryani was spicy and delicious.
Order took abit time to prepare, but the wait was totally worth it.
I'd highly Recommended garlic naans it was 5x better than butter naan.
"
"i have orderd thali few times before but yesterday waa worst naan was hard and half burned beside that in chicken curry and and butter chicken there was only 1 peiece of chicken in both very very disapointing"

"Perfection. My favourite Indian restaurant in the city. I love the Hariyali Tikka chicken, amazingly flavourful. A dish I've not seen before. Totally different from typical tikka chicken . The coating is a green sauce with just the right mix of heat, tangy, salty. Highly recommend you try it! Great portions. Love the Samosa(2pcs) here too. "
"The quality of the bhatura were really poor, it was uncooked and not suitable to eat. Not recommended.Apart from this quantity for chole were very less. The dahi was also very watery and tasteless."

"Amritsari Channa Pindi Garlic Naan is literally amazing."
"Mutton Biryani Garlic Naan Aloo Samosa (1 Piece) I ordered from this place for the first time. The Aloo Samosa (1 Piece) are fresh and delicious... the Garlic Naan is also fresh and delicious, but very mediocre... the Mutton Biryani is kinda disappointing sadly. The chunks of mutton are so dry and I don't taste any mint. They did fufill my special request to make it extra spicy though! I wouldn't get the Mutton Biryani again in the future."

"Thank you for taking special care of my order. I really appreciate the efforts put by the team out there. This place was, is, and will definitely my go to spot for dosa and especially Manchurian idli."
"I love the food it tastes amazing I haven't even gone in for the 3 rd bite coz I had to write this review of how good the food tastes ! The chili garlic idli is lip smacking love love love it !
I just have one complaint I ordered tea as well and mentioned not to add sugar but still received it sweet ! It's no biggie but I wish they followed the instructions as I don't like my tea sweet but on the whole amazing food ! The quantity they did not skimp and for the value it's a win win ! I would highly recommend this place if you want a good start for your day ! It's my first time writing a review for a restaurant honestly and also my first time eating from this place 2 bites in and I was smiling ear to ear ! I am a foodie a huge one and a South Indian and I know my idilis pretty well and they for sure nailed it! it was fresh and not heavy at all makes you want to eat more ! Amazing job chefs !"

"Honestly pretty large portions so you get your moneys worth. Also they were more generous than most places with the lamb in the lamb biryani. Very worth the price. Both the 90. Lamb Biryani and the 73. Chicken Lababdar (Chef's Special) have got a small kick to it though so just be a bit wary if you have a low spice tolerance. Overall the food is delicious!"
"Incredibly filling (it doesn't look like much but it is) I can eat two meals out of this portion. This time it has decent amount of chicken in the 71. Butter Chicken I had it with 97. Plain naan the bread is amazing. So fresh delicious it was a perfect dinner. Will order again."

"The Saag Paneer roti was great. Oddly the Sweet Mango chutney tasted a little off - it had a vinegary aftertaste that I haven't gotten before. Ended up not eating the rest of it. (But I won't take off a star for that.)"
"There is no difference for a $16 manually and seven dollars Samosa check both quantities. However, the quality of Manchuria is very bad little spicy and not even mild. I called the store and informed that to make spicy and little dry but it is all juicy and the taste is very bad so disappointed."

"Ordered the BUTTER CHICKEN SPECIAL which was not cheap, got mild spice which usually has a little heat but this had none. That part can be on me. Not as much chicken as pictured. GARLIC NAAN was fresh but does not have much garlic flavour and is 4.99 for only piece. Requested silverware but none was provided. Would not order this meal again for this price."
