My family and I used to eat at IHOP all he time and for decades, we ordered the build your own omelette wth cheese and salsa. Then that salsa went away and we stopped going. If anyone else out there misses that breakfast, Target has a Good and Gather medium chunky salsa that is spot on. It's a Wonder food hall restaurant, which I didn't realize until I got my food, but it was reasonably priced, well packaged, and the Cavatelli with Sausage & Mushrooms was a decent size, hearty, and filling - with plenty of sausage and a solid amount of mushrooms. Definitely doesn't feel skimped on the meat which is always important.
Anyhow, I got 30% off my first order - happy hour 2-5pm I think - and $5 off $20+ on my second, with the Cavatelli entree like $21.xx, which is nice that it just cleared the deal and there wasn't, like, some influence to try and get me to buy a side or dessert to get the discount. With those discounts, it's been a good value. I tried their whatever pecan pie the first time, too, which was also good.

The mozzarella in carrozza was a lot thicker than I was expecting but still tasted good - these are not your traditional mozzarella sticks! The spaghetti with meatballs tasted yummy as well! Both entrees came with a side salad and warm bread, which I didn't realize so that was a lovely surprise! The lobster bisque had great flavor, was a little oily but to be expected with a creamy soup like this, and had a bit of lobster - would have liked more pieces but it would probably make it more expensive if it did! "This used to be an amazing place. I’m not sure how all of the recipes have changed but the food is not authentic anymore. The Chicken Parmesan was tasteless. The tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from a can. The bread was hard and stale. I figured this was a one off experience, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and two more times and it’s the same. The only exception was the Caesar salad. That was still pretty good, but it became a $15 salad when I added chicken. The meals are way over priced for what you get. "
