We also noticed there wasn't a freshness seal or sticker on the to-go bags, which made us question whether everything had been handled properly. Drinks were not included in the kids meal. Silly me - it arrived at least a day old (or more) in the baking process and actually wasn't even fully baked. hush puppies were burnt, no coleslaw, and the beans (advertisted as pintos - not sure, but I've never seen pintos that small). The one item saving this dish was again the catfish. Ample portion, (small tater sauce) but thank goodness for the catfish! I willl order again (just not the platter) and will chalk this up to the cook having a bad day.

The chicken fried steak itself was cooked perfectly, not chewy at all! The gravy was thick and well seasoned. It was smaller than most chicken fried steaks and also more expensive (at least on DoorDash) than other comparable door dash CFS.
The mashed potatoes have an odd look, texture and taste. Of course it's all personal preference I just wasn't a fan. They were gritty, and tasted freezer burnt (that's the only way I can describe it, I'm sure they weren't actually freezer burnt).
