The sauce is good, not like my own homemade, but not too bad. It's not bitter at all as some are. I don't know if I detected a nice taste of spices to the sauce as well. The pasta was over cooked, but I think that has more to do with the travel time for delivery. My only complaint was that mozzarella is extra. I thought parmigiana was made with cheese. I did pay extra for the mozzarella. All and all, I enjoyed it and I'll enjoy 2 more meals.

The Blackened Salmon w/ cajun cream sauce, honey bourbon sweet potato slices & braised kale - salmon was fresh, cooked to perfection, and the flavor was amazing, and the sweet potatoes were delicious. The Hush Puppies with lemon butter were divine and the Essie's Fried Rice was a nice blend of spicy, sweet, and savory. This is one of my new favorite restaurants. I will be ordering again soon. Essie's knocked this one out of the park, my compliments to the chef. "
