"As a sushi chef myself I can confidently say that Tokai is in my top 3 spots for sushi in SCV. The quality of the fish is very good. "First time trying this restaurant. Overall a good experience. The tenders are MASSIVE and are very tasty with a light coating/breading. 5 tenders combo is definitely enough for an adult. On the downside, I found the mac & cheese a very small portion for $4.50 and it was without much flavour and the noodles extremely soft, to the point of dissolving to the touch. Slaw was nice and not overly sauced. Meal was packaged reasonably well for travel and sauce portions were more than reasonable in size and flavourful in taste. Overall a reasonable meal and I will try them again."
