"I recently ordered from Alif, especially on Eid day, as I was expecting a good biryani experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very disappointing. I ordered beef tehari (beef biryani) along with rice pudding. The rice pudding seemed old and spoiled—the rice was already breaking down and melting, which made it unpleasant to eat.
As for the beef biryani, it was supposed to contain a decent amount of beef, but I only found 3–4 very small pieces of meat. Even worse, the biryani was completely tasteless. There was no aroma or flavor at all—just plain rice with almost no seasoning.What they show on the online menu and what I actually received were completely different. The presentation and portion did not match at all.Overall, this was one of the worst biryanis I’ve ever had. It felt like a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this place to anyone who truly loves biryani."

We have gone back a few times now and we both feel that they are far better than KFC. The chicken has bigger pieces, it's juicer and has a better flavor. There green beans are like southern home-made, the Cole slay is excellent , the Cajun rice is great but, most of all of the sides, my wife loves the mashed potatoes and gravy. "First time ordering and I was not disappointed at all. The smothered steak was delicious. The steak was not overcooked it was easy to chew, the gravy was seasoned and it went well the mash potatoes. The chicken pastas omg. I ordered Cajun so it came with those Cajun spices. Well seasoned nice and creamy. The portion size is fitting, two ppl can eat from it and be full. The chicken was cooked fine not over cooked. The pasta was not overcooked as well. I love a place that seasons their food and this place did just that. The corned beef quesadilla wow what a treat. That is a great idea so shout out to whoever thought of. Corned beef was not dry. Again the portions sizes are huge. The corned beef was slightly salty to me but that just my taste buds. Nice and cheesy the bread was very soft the only thing I would say it needs is maybe some kind of sauce on the side to maybe dip it in but nevertheless it was good.
