Pop kitchen is definitely the best Chinese food in Daly city (outside of the gourmet and much more expensive Koi palace). My colleagues and I order lunch from here regularly ! Always great and a value.

Pop Kitchen's Spareribs with Garlic 天潮蒜香骨 dish immediately invoked memories from a favorite OG HK restaurant. Have not been able to find this close of a flavor profile for many years. Love the option of the Tasty Rice! Their Hainan Chicken, which I didn't order this time, is also one of the most flavorful.

The Ginger & Scallion Dungeness 薑蔥珍寶蟹 was tasty but small for $65. The baked HK Style Baked Pork Chop 焗豬扒飯/意粉 was weird. The pork chop was mushy and didnt taste good.

We haven't been feeling well so have ordered from DD for a while. The HK Style Baked Pork Chop 焗豬扒飯/意粉 has been the standout favorite! The pork chop was juicy, and the fried rice was not overly salty, so they made a perfect pair. While it is tomato sauce, it wasn't overly tangy, and I can't wait to order this again!

I think I just ordered not their best stuff. The chicken with black pepper is bland. Friend intestine smelled god awful. My mainland asian homie told me to try intestine. He said it shouldn't smell that rank usually. 3 stars from me. -Jake
