The Siam Chicken is excellent, flavorful, aromatic, spicy; a very generous portion with a sweet piquant sauce. I have always enjoyed Teak but this new recipe is my new favorite.

We eat here more often than we would like to admit and it never disappoints. From the level 9 pad Thai with shrimp and chicken, to the satay,
Spring roll and dumplings, it is always delectable. We have a running list of the top 10 in OTR and downtown Cincinnati and teak occupies one of those spots, permanently!

Spicy Fried Noodles
The flavor of the noodles is good, but it needs more sauce to keep that flavor consistent. The portion is great, but I found myself wishing the chicken had as much sauce and flavor as the noodles.
The Honey Bee Roll was good and they did substitute soy paper to accommodate my seaweed allergy. good flavor, needs a bit more eel sauce and spicy mayo drizzle.

Good "food" but little flavor? Had Panang Curry and chicken Pad Thai. Protein portions were great and chicken was tender & juicy. However the flavor just wasn't there. Panang is a rich sauce -- this tasted watered down and lacked any sort of complexity. The pad thai had very little sauce and thus no substantial flavor either despite being a very full assortment of ingredients. I've had a craving for pad thai all week and, although the food was good, my itch wasn't scratched. Leaving this so the restaurant knows where it can improve!

Teak has been a go to of ours since it reopened downtown a few years ago. The spice can be inconsistent at times, but is always still delicious. A go to of ours is the Spicy Fried Noodles and always have to get Spring Rolls. Other great options are the green curry or chicken Thai spicy if you want a rice dish. Sushi is delicious too - truly cant go wrong here!
