The sushi was spot on. Food was very flavofull and fresh.
The Shrimp Tempura(App) was not as impressive. The Tempura was more lke a batter and for $12+ you get 1 broccoli florets, 1 slice each of sweet potato, carrot, and zuchinni. The taste was not horrible buthe quantity will contribute to me refraining from ordering this appetizer again in te future.

I love their hot and sour soup. I ordered a lunch special and the driver forgot the soup. It happens. Sky called and let me know and when I said "oh no that's my favorite part and always why I order here!) the sweet woman on the phone said- we are going to get you your soup! OMG!!! And they brought out a LARGE ONE! Today was really rough so far, and this soup is like a warm hug. I am so so thankful and will be ordering from here even more now. That was some kindness they didn't know how much I needed today.

Everything tasted really great, it was fresh and the soup was still hot. I was happily surprised by the size of the sushi piece and the hand roll. I can't wait to try other items on the menu which they also attached a physical copy and that is great.

Standards for sushi in Kettering must be pretty low for this place to be rated so highly.
Rice on the nigiri was so bland. That in and of itself isn't a huge deal, a lot of Midwest sushi places don't season their rice. But it was dry on top of that, not dry like it was undercooked but dry like it was old. It was so dry that the fish had a hard time sticking.
The nigiri is also just a horrible value for the cost. We got the SU/Salmon Roe, SU/Wild King Salmon, SU/White Tuna, and SU/Mackerel. A single piece per order, which would not have been an issue if there was more clarity in the menu. However, the nigiri being one piece to an order AND being low quality makes these prices insane.
We also got the Spicy Crunchy Tuna and Tokyo Roll, which were both fine but also bland. And the ginger and wasabi that came with all of the sushi was outright terrible. Like worse than grocery store quality.
Would not ever order from this place again at these prices.
