must have been an off day... fish in Chirashi bowl were paper thin slices, with one fish coming in cubed chunks (probably scraps left over, just tossed in). came with a fork & unagi sauce instead of soy sauce. total buzz kill

The chirashi portion was very small for the price. On every dish the rice wasn't very good and the fish wasn't the best quality. For the price I would expect a bit more.

Probably the worst sushi I have ever had. Rolls were warm, extremely bland, and did not taste fresh. Fish was rubbery.
I got the pork Katsu curry as well. The pork was fried nicely, but the curry was extremely watery and bland.
I have gotten better sushi at Vons

Nasu Dengaku (eggplant) was not included in the delivery. (They gave me a refund.) Unusual that skin would still be on the fish in the $48 18-piece sashimi entre. Also, the pieces were "chunks" instead of thinly sliced. For $48 worth of sashimi, you'd think they would include free rice which I had to buy separately (and miso soup which I also bought separately). First and last time here.
