The deep dish pizza here is absolutely delicious. Slightly different than the Chicago deep dish which has more greasy crust, this is a more crispy Hardy crust. Don't expect to be able to eat more than one piece. The small easily feeds three people.

Probably one of the best chicago pizza spots in LA. Not super cheesy like typical chicago pizza but the sauce was very rich and flavorful and the crust had a good seasoning. The wings were good too! I appreciate them using Mexican hot sauce to make their sauce!

Got the Deep Dish Spicy Italian Pizza. Truly fantastic crust; buttery but not greasy, crisp and with a real whole grain body. Best deep dish crust in town IMHO (better than Masa). The sauce had a nice body to it too. Previously when I have done Build-Your-Own it has been a bit flat when fresh, just a lot of tomato flavor to the point of being kinda watery tasting. Only the next day, when eating leftovers has the sauce developed a richer flavor. This time though it was perfect. Either they fixed the sauce or maybe the toppings helped bring the flavor out. I'm not sure but it was delicious!

EASILY The BEST pizza in LA. I bought the top 3 rated places at the same time for my birthday last year and my family taste tested them. Blackbird blew the other top 2 rated out of the water. You need to try this place. I'm from Chicago, btw and can vouche for this deep dish 100%. - @Rob_Level
