The heat is on at Birds of a Feather, a dazzling Williamsburg mainstay from the Michelin-starred duo behind Cafe China. The menu here focuses…
The Spicy Fish Fillet and the Mustard Green Fried Rice are my personal favorites from Birds of a Feather and I order from BoaF at least once every week. The veggies- string beans with pork and snow pea shoots- are cooked to perfection. I have also really enjoyed the accordion eggplant and the rice pudding. All of these dishes are recommended!

Cucumbers, cold sesame noodles, pork and leeks will always hit. The beef noodle soup has genuinely 8-10 TINY cubes of mainly gristle.

Beef Soup Noodles came with 2 of the smallest pieces of meat possible. Terrible value. What you see is ALL the meat that comes with "Beef Noodle Soup"
I thought they mixed it up with a veggie option until I found bits of meat after 30 seconds.

Overall, it's an okay restaurant. Would I order from here again? Probably not. For what I paid, the dishes were small and mediocre at best. The lamb was over cooked, the pork bun had more empty space than filling, and the Dan Dan noodles were disappointingly bland.

Wouldn't recommend the Chungking Spicy chicken. You're basically paying $22 for a container full of chillis. Where's the chicken? Spicy fish filet and Fried rice mustard green shoots is always good though!
