We tried El Rey for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The Chicken Pastor Burrito came at the right temperature, chicken was flavorful and tender, and the rice was nicely spiced. The portion also included a side of guacamole and a side salad. The salad was fresh, nicely chopped, and properly seasoned.
Now, about the guacamole. We ordered it as an additional item too. It was of the right consistency, freshly made, and correctly spiced. Its color was bright green - as what the color is supposed to be. (El Vez have been consistently sending us guacamole which was always brown and stale, so we stopped ordering from them.)

Highly disappointed with the taste, quality and service of this order. The Carnitas (pork) tacos looked quite literally thrown into the takeout container. The sloppiness could have been overlooked had they tasted good but they were dry and had no flavor. The chicken burrito and guac were also flavorless. Spent over $45 on 3 items at a restaurant that doesn't seem to put any effort in - would not recommend!

Honestly this is some of the worst Mexican food I've had recently. The tacos were dry and the corn was inedible. I would not recommend. Food also arrived cold (which isn't necessarily the restaurants fault) but it was packaged so it got soggy.

Food was very tasty. Disappointing aspect was the very limited amount of chicken (mainly just a ton of cheese and onions). If you're a small child I would highly recommend, however a normal adult would be difficult to get full off of one order imo since they barely gave any chicken.

Food was too expensive for the little portions we got on each taco. The cilantro rice was poorly made and tasted like instant rice with cilantro thrown on top. Was not happy with the quality of the food we got.
