Got the captain crunch roll maki, chicken karaage, and spicy edemame. The roll was my fave! Loved the fried onion topping with the blue tuna. Will definitely be trying other dishes!!

Food is very average, and portions of sushi nigiri are very small. Be aware that per serving expensive price is for only one piece and not a pair as implied from the menu! We are visiting from the Northwest and are used to much better quality, larger fish size, and half the cost. Also picked up HEB sushi, and they were better value and quality.

I've dined at KA twice in person, and both times came away very happy (hence three stars v one).
However, I cannot recommend delivery service after the meal we just had: $140 including the delivery and gratuity got us 10 pieces of sashimi ( 5 utterly tasteless), 3 pieces of tempura shrimp and a block of tempura sans anything inside, one catepillar roll ( the likely highlight of the meal) , and some assorted ginger and wasabi packets. Easily the worst carryout experience we've had in The Heights. Avoid.

Always fresh, one of my fave sushi spots in houston. Delivery is always fresh.
