The food here is the best caribbean spot in the area, there Rice And Beans and their fried pork are amazing. If I can I try to eat there but will always order out from here!

We just moved to Amherst from Miami, Florida. I have been living there for over 39 years and have lived amongst Cubans who moved to Florida from Cuba and Cuban-Americans born in Florida. Therefore, I know what Cuban Ropa Vieja truly tastes like, and this dish does not taste like the way Cubans cook Ropa Vieja in Miami, Florida.
The beef meat tastes more like regular beef stew cooked in paprika, garlic, and peppers, onions, red wine, and some other spicy ingredient. It was flavorful, but it was not actual Cuban Ropa Vieja flavors.
In addition, the black beans had a good flavor, but those do not taste like authentic Cuban black beans. We received only 1/2 of the cup filled with watery bean liquid and a little bit of black beans. This is very disappointing given that we paid $21.50 per each dinner plate and were expecting at least a full container of the cooked black beans with each of our 4 paid meals.
Please do better with the serving a properly portioned Cuban Ropa Vieja dish and the black bean side portion.

The tostones are the best in town, the ropa vieja is perfect and the the griot with pikliz is great, but that Djon Djon Rice (Black Mushroom Rice) rice is absolutey amazing! Love their food and you need to stop in and try breakfast as well! Best in Nashua! l

The legume was very good. there was lots of beef and it was well cooked. the rice went perfectly with it and soaked up the sauce nicely. I'm not a fan of their recipe for macaroni au gratin, it lacks flavor and could be much better. I also got to try their Haitian potato salad. it was perfect, the taste of the beets is refreshing.

How dare you guys charge $36 dollars for an oxtail plate that leaked the sauce all inside the bag? 2 pieces of oxtail? That's a JOKE! Will NOT order again! If you guys want it back send someone to take it, I'm not even hungry anymore!
