I was excited to try this local cafe, however I am not impressed. The Build Your Own Salad was missing an ingredient and the lettuce was bitter to the point that it couldn't be finished. If someone is paying nearly $20 for a salad, that's a pretty big problem.
As for the mystery box, you should let it stay a mystery. It's worse than TooGoodToGo. Expect pastries that no one would typically want--raisin oatmeal cookies, old danishes. I wouldn't order again.

I ordered breakfast from them and it was absolutely delicious! One of the best ever! I was really impressed! So I tried lunch - it was not even edible! The falafel was horrible - dry and a terrible combination of ingredients. The bread pudding was bone dry, did not taste of maple at all and was stale and old - the ice cream that accompanied it was tasteless - the whole meal went in the garbage! Totally disappointed!
