El Cholo is amazing! Love eating at the restaurant but also delivers perfectly! The #4 Combination Two Enchiladas are a favorite but have enjoyed everything on the menu - don't forget the Guacamole

Each item I ordered was delicious! The Mariscos Enchiladas were creamy and filled with seafood. It came with a side of black beans, rice, and avocado. The portion was massive, which I was not expecting. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. The salsa was also very fresh and not too spicy. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely reorder!

Where do I begin…
I’ll start with what was good. The only thing about tonight’s dinner that was exceptional was the service that Agustin gave us.
Outside of that, the food was below sub-par. And the pricing on the food, AWFUL!
I ordered the Chile Colorado dinner, it tasted of nothing but tomato. The flavor was absolutely horrendous. I’ve had this plate from many restaurants in my life, and this definitely goes bottom 3. No flavor what so ever except tomato.
Don’t even get me started on the Albóndigas that my partner had. It tasted of nothing but carrots, and canned tomato. No flavor at all. Actually kind of embarrassing that the restaurant has been around this long if this is the flavor they serve.
I guess for the restaurant to be in Salt Lake City, it makes sense that it has no flavor, but you cannot say anything authentic about this place.
Again Agustin M. You were absolutely fantastic. I’m sorry that this restaurant is a disappointment and doing you a disservice.

best mexican food i've tried in salt lake city it's hard to come by the #2 Combination Enchilada and Chile Relleno was so good a true chile relleno and the enchilada sauce was different but was delicious definitely going to order this again
