Buraka always satisfies. The Sigawot-cube d beef and potatoes in a mild tomato gravy on rice-and the Samosas are tasty. Minchet Abish is also good. The food is always warm on arrival and fresh. They always get my order right and everything comes as ordered. For a good, balanced meal of protein, veggies, and grain Buraka hits the spot.

The Black Beans and Samosa tasted hearty and fresh.The portions are reasonable and worth the price. The food is always hot and tastes good whenever I order. I would order again. Buraka is the place to go for Ethiopian food in Madison.

We got the combination dinner. Not sure if it's because we ordered at night but the portion was pathetically small. There was about a 1/4th of a potato and two pieces of onion in the Alichara. She also ordered the Misiriwat and got some sort of ground beef concoction. I would really recommend the Globe if you want some sort of curry or to be frank, any place but this. Would never come back here again

I hate to leave a negative review as this is one of my favorite restaurants but I was pretty disappointed last night because every other time I've ordered the Combination Dinner, the entire container is filled up but last night, literally only half was filled. For $22, especially when the ingredients (for the vegetarian version) are JUST potatoes, lentils, cabbage and carrots, and I've supported the restaurant for SO MANY years, it's just disappointing. I know I'm paying for more than the ingredients... just not sure why my order was suddenly halved. Makes me leery to order again, when it's so pricey.
Delicious, though.

Always incredibly delicious (tho slightly pricey). And they always prepare the food so quickly. Only complaints is that they use styrofoam containers and on a few occasions have forgotten ah item but not this time.
