This is the BEST soul food in queens! I'm a Brooklyn girl so there's spots a plenty there. But I've recently moved and haven't found any place as good as Seamorhen! Everything on my plate was a 10/10! As someone with a southern family, this is truly a taste of the south and the comfort I needed!

The Fish Whiting (3 Pcs) & Shrimp (7 Jumbo) was excellent! NOT salty at all, even the HOMEMADE tarter sauce was great! The collard greens were flavorful and, again, NOT salty! The maccaroni and cheese could have been creamier, but it was still good and made with CHEDDAR cheese, and the candied yams were good but I will have them add more juice next time I order, which is in few minutes LOL!

Food came in a very timely fashion. It is hot, fresh and very crispy. Portions are great. I will definitely order this again. The taste is always great.

I did not receive the Baked Macaroni & Cheese or the Whiting that I ordered, which was disappointing. I was also given grits that I didn’t order and didn’t enjoy.
On a positive note, the Shrimp Boat was really good.
