Everything is so fresh and delicious from here always! The chicken is always super tender and the sauce is spiced and flavorful. Garlic naan is always a 10/10

The Chicken Tikka Masala is so so flavorful! The layering of the kebab, creamy sauce, and aromatic rice is perfect. Some of the best I've ever had. The spice level is perfect if you can tolerate a little heat, but it's not "spicy" to someone who regularly enjoys spicy food. Portion is great for the price and everything is always fresh. I order here frequently and it's always consistently delicious.

The Chicken Tika Masala, Chicken 65 & Garlic Naan were absolutely delicious! Food arrived hot and quickly. 1st time ordering from Taj Mehar, but will now be our go-to for Indian food. Highly recommended!

Wow! I have walked by this place a few times and never thought to order. Had a hankering for Indian food and I ordered on DoorDash. I didn't even make the connection that this was the place on Main Street. I must say the dinner was DELICIOUS! so good. And I am delighted that I have a go to fabulous Indian restaurant right in my neighborhood!

Tasty dinner option! I’m so excited to have good Indian food close by!
There are some…less intense… versions of classics, like Chicken Tikka Masala, that are a little mellow and nondescript to me (but if you are a local from up here in NJ, I think you’ll enjoy the adventure). If you want something on the spicy-like-grandma-made-it side, we really enjoyed the Lamb Biryani, (any goat dishes probably slap here too). The Vegetable Pakora and Paneer Paalak were standouts. Their Garlic Naan is stellar.
We will be back for more!
