• 25-03-16If I could surm this dish in one word itd, be nostalgic. Growing up in a Bengali household, Rice and fish bhuna with veggies + daal was a staple. The fish was carp, which while a bit of a shock was still nostalgic. As for the daal and the veggies, that was quite remin of my mom's own cooking. The only gripes I have is that I wish there was more jhol (gravy) with the fish and that the fish was a little bony, but other than that, this meal was quite delicious and deeply nostalgic!
